Diminutive of Antonia, named after the Latin gens Antonius, probably of Etruscan origin and of uncertain significance; hypothesis is that it meant "priceless", another is "fighting, which addresses" in the Renaissance has spread to the 'hypothesis unlikely, that can be linked to the Greek word anthos, meaning "flower
