                                   The weird world of sports!
Cheese-rolling.
Cheese-rolling takes place every May Gloucestershire, England. Competitors run down a very steep hill (in places it has a 1 in 2 gradient!)...and why? They are following a very big local cheese that rolls down the hill! Every year there are hundreds of spectators. The Master of Ceremonies,in traditional costume, starts the race. A special guest lunches the cheese, and the participants follow. The person who arrives at the bottom of the hill frist wins the cheese!
Zorbing.
Zorbing is a new sport from New Zealand. It's not a competitive sport. The 'zorb' is a gigantic inflatable ball, abount 3 metres high, and contains another smaller ball. The ball made of clear plastic. A person (the zorbonaut) stands inside the zorb, and  rolls down the hill. During the journey, the zorbonaut feels strange sensations, and sees blu sky and green grass, blue sky ... green grass ... blue ... green ... The inflated sphere is very soft, like a cushion,so it isn't dangerous!
Speak Takraw.
Speak Takaraw is a popular sport in Malaysia and other countries in Asia. Speak means 'kick',and Takraw means 'ball'. It combines football, volleyball and gymnastics in one game! There are three players in a team, and the two team stand on opposite sides of a net. They can't use their hands or arms. Players are very athletic!
Bossball.
Bosseball is a new, musical sport from Belgium. It is a combination of volleyball and trampolining, with live South American muisc! Players play on a inflatable court, with round trampolines and a net. People play it at school,on the beach and at music festivals. Teams of 3-5 players can use their hands, feet or hand to hit the ball over the net. They jump on the trampoline, and try to keep the ball in the air. A team can touch the ball eight times before they pass it to the other team. The bossaball referees play live music while the teams are playing!
